Nisha Bala (they/them) serves as a Technical Assistance provider for the California Center for School Climate.

Nisha is also a Research Associate with the Justice and Prevention area at WestEd, where they help perform analyses on the California Healthy Kids Surveys (CHKS) and assist with other data management and analysis needs. They also provide technical assistance and consultation on data use practices to county offices of education, districts, and schools. Prior to joining WestEd, Nisha worked at the Tennessee Education Research Alliance, a research-practice partnership between the Tennessee Department of Education and Vanderbilt University. Nisha was part of a team analyzing administrative, survey, and testing data and specialized in student survey data analysis.
