The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act – Stronger Connections Grant (BSCA-SCG) Program is designed to encourage partnership between Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and communities to address the critical issue of gun violence that has impacted so many schools and communities across the nation.
The BSCA-SCG initiative is grounded in the belief that locally tailored school safety and climate plans, underpinned by genuine community support, can—when combined with evidence-based strategies for fostering safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments—catalyze transformative partnerships between school staff, students, families, and the broader community.
WestEd, in partnership with the CDE will be hosting virtual learning sessions for BSCA-SCG grantees and private school leaders. Sessions will be recorded and posted to this page.
